The zine is derived from the contents of a mini sketchbook completed for The Time Capsule Project by the Brooklyn Art Library and Colossal. The original work is currently entombed in Florida and shall reside there until its exhumation in 2072 with hundreds of other completed sketchbooks from artists across the world, presuming there is anyone to retrieve them. A 50 year slumber may seem like a long time to the average person, but relative to the vastness of the earth’s geological timescale and all the planet has experienced, is there much difference between 50 years and 500 years?
